Fiction

In addition to being an X-Men fan, I'm also a writer, and occasionally that translates to being a writer of creative fiction.

In this section of the site, you'll find works pertaining to X-Men that may be of some interest to readers. I'm not saying any of it is good, but if I didn't think it was at least okay I probably wouldn't be posting it, so please just... um, be cool, ok?

X-Men: Mutant Generation by Scotto Williams

Scott Summers, a lonely and maladjusted orphan with an uncontrollable mutant power arrives at the Xavier Institute for Independent Learning. Scott struggles to find his place amongst his fellow students, and with the strange secrets of the school and its headmaster. What are -- or were -- the "X-Men"?

I began writing this as an exercise in rebuilding the X-Men from the ground up with a unified mythos, and to incorporate common "school of adventure" tropes, along with the teen drama of being stuck in a place with people you don't get along with. It's my attempt to envision an X-Men that was fresh but classic at the same time.

Currently a work in progress. Chapters will be posted as often as I can manage.
